Our health care team also consists of our attentive and caring receptionists. Our receptionists can assist you with appointments and boarding reservations, and answer questions regarding vaccination schedules, neuter procedures, flea and tick management, and heartworm prevention.
Patti DiMarino is our Office Manager, and has worked at Central Animal Hospital since 1993. Patti donates many hours to pet rescue, finding new homes for abandoned or abused pets. She and her husband have a special interest in Pit Bull Terriers, as they presently care for 2 Pit Bulls, Nonna and Ducky, and a cat Mister.
Krista Kolodzinski has been at Central Animal Hospital since 2006. She and her husband, Frank, and their 2 young sons, care for their dog, Paco, a Manchester Terrier who was a rescue pet. Her passion is to rescue and "find doggies good homes". Krista earned her BA in criminal justice and her MA in health education. She has worked as a Drug Educator and presently volunteers as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Pleasantville Ambulance corps.
Gabbie Lazzari joined Central Animal Hospital in 2012. Gabbie enjoys the excitement at the reception area, as pets great each other! She and her boyfriend care for 2 Doberman Pinschers, Ronin and Athina.
Roseanne Lukic joined our health care team in 2008. Her full-time job is as a teacher for children with special needs. Rosie had her first pet at age 2, a bunny, and has also cared for chickens! Presently, Rosie and her husband, Dan, care for their 2 young daughters and a scruffy little mixed-breed dog named Gizmo. You may see him sitting behind the reception desk, as he enjoys coming to Central Animal Hospital!
Gina Manganiello first joined Central Animal Hospital in 2006. She has a love of Newfoundlands, as well as Pit Bull Terriers, and is a certified Master Dog Trainer. She enjoys training rescue dogs and helping them to find loving homes. At home, Gina and her husband, Dave, and their 2 young sons, care for 2 cats and 1 dog, Teddy..
Caralyn Rivera joined our health care team in 2009. Her love of pets first caused her to volunteer for the Yonkers Humane Society before coming to Central Animal Hospital. She earned her Associate's degree from Westchester Community College and her Bachelor's degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College. She presently cares for 3 cats.
Michelle Strateman joined our hospital in 2009. She and her husband care for 2 cats and 4 dogs - 3 Boston Terriers and 1 Australian Cattle Dog mix. Butch, one of her Boston Terriers, is often seen sitting on a receptionist's chair greeting clients!
Jackie Torres joined Central Animal Hospital because she "loves, loves, loves all types of animals"! (She enjoys working with people, too!) She graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a major in business and Marketing. At home, she currently cares for a Scottish Fold cat.
